Fine-pitch DV-LED

LED Video Walls

Bezel-free direct-view LED walls for residences, lobbies, boardrooms and flagship stores. Pixel pitch is chosen for your viewing distance; GOB (glue-on-board) surfaces protect the LEDs where people stand close.

Prices are starting prices for the smallest configuration, excluding VAT. Your quotation reflects size, finish, mounting and installation.

How to specify an LED video wall

Every project starts with a free consultation and a site survey by our own engineers. Call +44 333 344 3384 or book a time.

Choose the pixel pitch from the viewing distance

Pixel pitch is the distance between LED pixels, in millimetres. The closer people stand, the finer the pitch needs to be. A practical rule of thumb is that the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is roughly the pixel pitch in millimetres, and the image looks its best at two to three times that distance.

For living rooms, boardrooms and boutique interiors where people stand within two or three metres, we usually specify 1.8mm or finer. Our presentation-grade wall is available from 0.9mm to 2.5mm. For lobbies, atriums and larger rooms viewed from further away, 2.5mm gives a seamless image at a lower cost per square metre.

Why GOB matters where people stand close

GOB (glue-on-board) coats the face of each module in a clear protective layer. It protects the LEDs from knocks, cleaning and moisture, which is why we recommend it for family rooms, retail floors and any wall within reach. Our P1.8 GOB panel is the default choice for residences and boutiques.

LED or LCD video wall?

Direct-view LED has no bezels, so the image is completely seamless, and it can be built to almost any size or shape. LCD video walls cost less at small sizes but always show fine lines between screens. Where the wall is a centrepiece, a brand film or a cinema, LED is the right specification; where budget leads and the content is mainly data, an ultra-narrow bezel LCD wall can be the sensible choice.

Brightness, finish and integration

Most interiors need far less brightness than a panel can produce, so walls are calibrated for the room and can dim through the day. We detail recesses, shadow gaps, ventilation and service access with your architect or interior designer, so the wall sits flush within the joinery rather than on it.

Questions

Frequently asked

How much does an LED video wall cost in the UK?

Our LED panels start from £1,890 ex VAT for P2.5 indoor DV-LED, £2,925 for P1.8 and £3,100 for P1.8 GOB. Complete presentation walls start from £25,600 ex VAT. The final price depends on size, pitch, structure and integration, and we provide a written quotation after a survey.

What pixel pitch do I need for a living room or boardroom?

For viewing distances of two to three metres, 1.8mm or finer. GOB protection is recommended where the wall can be touched.

Can an LED wall be built into joinery?

Yes. We specify recess depths, shadow gaps, ventilation and front-service access with your interior designer so the wall sits flush.

Is an LED video wall better than a very large TV?

Beyond about 100 inches, LED is usually the only way to achieve a seamless image at the size of the wall, and it can be made to fit the space exactly rather than a standard screen size.

Who installs it, and what aftercare is included?

Our own engineers survey, install and commission every display; we do not use subcontractors. Displays carry a 3-year warranty with lifetime technical support, and you have a named account contact after installation.
